Hi!

My dog Honey, and I are embarking on a cross country trip starting December 2021. My partner Cameron will join for me part of the trip.
We are all fully vaccinated, recently (12/2/21) boostered, and continue to wear masks in public spaces.
I am an artist and dabble in many mediums. I am excited to start this trip and hopefully meet some incredible people on the way!

A little bit about me:
I spent my first part of my life in Canada and then moved to upstate NY when I was 11. I always knew the world was my oyster - even at a young age. The year after high school (2004), before iPhones and social media existed I traveled across country on my own by taking the Greyhound bus and staying at youth hotels and friends of friends. I had only great experiences - even at the ripe age of 17. After I returned to NY, I bought a ticket for that autumn to Paris, France. In six weeks, I Euro-railed 7 different countries. I turned 18 in Amsterdam. It was a full moon. After returning from my travels from Europe, I spent almost the entire next 9 years in school, in unhappy relationships, getting sick - pretty much living my life not the way I wanted to. I had a few opportunities to travel during this time although it was not up to my speed.
In 2011, I traveled to Guatemala which was such an enriching experience and I hope to spend more time there in the future. The colors, people, language, landscape, food, were all just so warm and vibrant.
In that time period between my first cross country trip via the Greyhound bus and this recent cross country drive in my 1999 Geo Prism, I worked as a nurses' aide, barista, cashier, jewelry maker, henna artist, actor, model, photographer, social media marketer, front desk assistant at a bed & breakfast, and baker.
I've had a wonderful journey and I'm looking forward to using couch surfing a lot more.
