ABOUT ME

I spent the first 10 years of my career after college thinking I wanted to develop commercial office buildings. After 10 years I decided to change course and I began a wine and food event company called "TasteDC" - teaching and organizing classes/events around wine, cooking and anything for foodies. 13 years later I wrote a book about wine/my experiences/humor called "I Drink on the Job: A Refreshing Perspective on Wine". Now I intend to start my own food and wine travel adventure company.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went to a social in Durham, NC - it was very happenstance - and since I want to start travelling until I find my wine making job, I want to get ideas for alternative ways to live in the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to a fun Pot Luck social in Durham, NC in September 2010 and met many nice people. I actually use a "for-profit" service called Air BnB and that's how this all began.

Lived the life of the "Rich and Famous" for 2 weeks on a luxury culinary tour of Europe by Private Jet - gained 8 lbs in the process!
