ABOUT ME

I'm a happy girl that is usually in a good mood. I think optimistically about almost everything. I like studying and travelling and I love adventures!

I love good food, nice wine and music. I'm an observer but I also talk a lot.

I'm more into going to a pub or an adventurous walk in some interesting new place than going to a club. I also like going out to any cultural event there might be.

At the moment I'm studying in my home country and I would love to host some people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted people back when I lived in Mexico and I've surfed some couches in North America and Europe. Lately I've also hosted people in Finland and I've only had good and interesting experiences.

Interests

I love travelling and getting to know different places and cultures. I like sunshine and warm weather so when I travel I usually try to escape the cold weather of Finland by going to a warmer place. And that's not hard at all!

I like to do different sports whenever I have time. Jogging and kayaking are a must every summer and in the winter I love going cross-country skiing.

I'm an active member of a student exchange organisation called AFS.

I study politics and I love to talk about politics with people who are also interested in it. That doesn't mean that I would always turn a conversation into politics though.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a bad movie watcher. I'm the one who never understands the plot and has to ask you what just happened. But I like watching different movies, especially the kind that leave you with something to think about.

I like music but I'm not so picky about genres. I listen to a lot of jazz because my boyfriend plays it all the time but I also like classical music and some funky and groovy music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a kayaking instructor so I can teach you many things about it. I can also tell you how the Finnish education system or the social security system works if you are into stuff like that. Or maybe I can just show you how to make a nice Mexican style guacamole!
