I’m a visual storyteller and writer from Norway who normally lives in the United States with my husband. However, I currently live at home in Norway and will be until next spring, then I’m headed back to my second home and house in Duluth, Minnesota. I am honest, easygoing and have a positive mindset, and I have a passion for living and learning about other cultures.

I love to travel and live like a local and especially learning from locals. There’s no such people as those who so willingly open their homes to travelers and I find it so interesting to learn each other’s stories and way of life.

I listen to most genres besides country, a lot of jazz and folk. I love comedy and drama and I enjoy books and podcasts across the spectrum.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the Virgin River Narrows in Zion National Park in Utah. It was unbelievably beautiful and it just amazes me how nature does its incredible thing of making you feel so insignificant. I really love the world and its nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning about our differences and how we all view the world. I am all about hearing a different side of a story and understanding the world and humans little more as a whole through communicating what we each and everyone are about. I strongly believe we can disagree about something but still understand and respect one another enough to validate each other’s views and feelings. After all, how else are we going to make this world a better place?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, my culture and what I would dare to say is the best chocolate in the world. I’m clean, quiet late at night, respectful of your rules, talkative but also fine with less communication, board game player, and I absolutely love pets. We can share stories, cooking, an adventure - you name it.
