Hello there, stranger! I am a Filipino, now living in PDX for a few years.

I am very new to the idea of couch surfing, and traveling for leisure. Admittedly, I am a late bloomer. Up until recently, I believed that traveling requires a lot of money, but a friend of mine (who discovered her passion for traveling) opened my eyes on how to make traveling budget-friendly.

I am very excited to host! I am also excited to couch surf soon. I am planning on visiting the other states in the country, so watch out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of meeting new people, and learning a lot from their own experiences. I fervently believe that one can learn a lot just by simply talking and listening to other people.

Ideally, I'd love to meet writers of all sorts (journalists, novelists, poets, dramatists, bloggers), bibliophiles, and other creative thinkers. I would like to hear about your travel experiences, and get some recommendations on where to go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, a few years ago.

I was slightly acrophobic, so it was a big deal for me. Something like my way of facing that fear.

Seconds away from jumping off of the plane, I thought I was going to die. But I knew that it was too late to back off. Then I just found myself already mid-air, gliding thousands of feet up sea level.

High up above, everything below seemed still. Even the ocean looked like it was not moving at all. It was cathartic. I would never forget how calm and peaceful I felt, how connected with the world.
