ABOUT ME

i generally tend to think to much and i`m not sure yet if thats good or bad. spending a year in australia definitely changed me, as i learned to stand up for what i want and in gerneral survive in no matter which situation(by that i don`t mean survival trips in the nature, but more how to get food without money, how to find a safe place to sleep and to be able to tell which person u shouldn`t get into a car with etc.)at the moment i`m going through a lot of searching for whatever i expect to find.

PHILOSOPHY

alle schweine groß und klein möchten gern ein glücksschwein sein. sorry, i can`t translate this one to english....just means that everybody is sort of looking for a bit of luck in their lives..
its not all about luck though, or maybe it is when ur travelling because ur always forced to go with the flow.
i think happiness is really important as well and its each persons responsibility to agree on that and find out what makes them happy..

but i will never follow a certain philosophy(such as "its all about being happy"), because i try and keep my mind free, developing and independent.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i used the project a lot during my own travels in australia, starting with the simple idea of saving money which appealed to me in a high degree:)
now i want to give back to others all the generousity and hospitality i experienced in the last year.
i won`t always be able to show u around, so in the first place this is really just about offering a place to sleep. don`t expect me to entertain u, i only do that if i like u a lot:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i surfed a lot of couches in australia and now several people from all over the world stayed at my and my mum`s place..
apart from that couchsurfing within groups of friends is a very common habit in berlin, of course:)

Interests

music, reading, arts, drinking, smoking, exchanging thoughts, different cultures and languages, the people around me, life, nature, dancing, australia, bit of rock-climbing, bit of this, bit of that..
and the sun, that lady definitely recharges my battery..

Music, Movies, and Books

i try and read english books as often as i can but also classic german literature
james baldwin, toni morrison, hermann hesse, john irving, max frisch, t c boyle
music: much too much to say about this topic
i listen to heaps of stuff, at the moment i´m kind of nostalgic about my asutralia-soundtrack (the cat empire, blue king brown, john butler, the beautiful girls). other than that mostly 60s, but also elecronic, drum´n´bass(esp. for dancing), hip hop
love to watch movies of all kinds but not too much into science fiction and action stuff
i like black and white
and yes, once in a while i like watching oc california for any sort of reason, i really can`t explain it..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

booking my flight to australia, done the overland track, bought a car without a license, sold it and bought another one!
coming back to the german winter from above 30° in thailand and one year australia before was probably the most insane idea i´ve ever had

Teach, Learn, Share

sharing evry kind of knowledge that i have and others offer to me. i can draw a little (live drawing in berlin) i know how to play the piano. i just applied for uni to learn how to teach german as a foreign language, so if u want i can start practising on u:)
i like to learn as much as i can, at the moment i´d love to speak a lot of english as i´m scared of forgetting all of it..
even if there are no specific educated skills,in my opinion everyone`s interesting as an individual with its experiences..
i like learning by watching people and their behavior..
