Overview
About Me
Hi! I was born and grew up in New York - a charming suburb 30 mins from NYC. Am of Jamaican descent. Playful, witty, and curious. Large bodies of water (fresh or salt), falls, clean air, plants (especially native), nutrient rich soil, bees, flowers, gardens, soulful music, good food/wine make me feel amazing!
Sustainability, Food, Arts, “Culture”, Health, History, Spirituality and their intersections are subjects I delve deep into studying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect with others and break down figurative walls. Exploring, learning about different cultures (especially how they heal and stay healthy) and sharing my knowledge are some of my intentions for couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Deep House, Alternative, Indie, Jazz, Sade and Prince for music. Any psychological thriller, femme fatale, documentaries relevant to what I like to study, and Romance are films I enjoy watching. I read what's relevant to what I like to study along with my own writing. Just finished "The Spirit of Intimacy" and have started "Emotional Branding" and "The Airbnb Way: 5 Leadership Lessons for Igniting Growth through Loyalty, Community, and Belonging".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Deliver a baby in Senegal because of language “barriers”.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching English, Gardening, Cooking, Creative Writing Skills, Photography, Videography, Editing, Nutrition, Herbalism.
Learning different languages, spiritual and health customs as well as other global practices/local initiatives/projects for sustainability, farming, gardening initiatives and projects in your community is a strong desire. Also want to find out about hot spots foe leisure and businesses for budget friendly, but nice, pampering (massages, pedi, mani).
I can share information about how to get involved in similar field work in NY state, growing your own food and it’s benefits, herbal medicine and the individualized wisdom that comes along with it, and photos with my professional camera (canon 6D with 24-105 wide angled mm lens)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Knowledge about the world I come from, Tips and assistance for emerging into NYC life whether it’s for career opportunity or education, Practice for languages I am fluent in, possibility of working with me on projects, if interested, garden support, and/or a really nourishing meal with a killer cocktail and great company :)🌸
