Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted bunch of people so far and it's been so awesome! CS has been amazing and it feels like an addiction, it starts to feel strange, if I haven't hosted anyone in a while. Also, my surfing experience has been absolutely great and I have been blessed with exceptionally wonderful hosts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: LOTR, Star Wars, DC + Marvel, Mad Max, lot of classics - from Casablanca to Space Odyssey
Music: Classic rock, folk, blues. I'm not really a music geek, but I know what I like, when I hear it. Not so keen on pop/dance.
Books: Lord of the Rings, anything by Terry Pratchett, everything by Orwell and Remarque, also Fitzgerald, Poe, Wild and other classics, Alessandro Baricco, Haruki Murakami, Herbjorg Wassmo and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences of my life has been taking part in the Latvian Song and Dance festival and of course hitchhiking and couchsurfing across Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Latvian, show you where the best Latvian beer can be found and show you around Riga on a budget, as well as teach you something about Latvian history and culture. I will appreciate everything you can give me in return: experience, friendship, knowledge, good time and laughter.
