Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the very idea of opening house to guests. My first couch-surfing experience was hosting until 2011. Children where young and I could explore world without leaving home.
Since 2014 I'm back.
Now I live in flat of permanent renovation (if last 4 years can be considered as permanent). So, I'm ready to show Ķemeri city and Ķemeri National park, to help with trip planning in Latvia, but unfortunately I can't provide any housing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Participated four times in Latvian Song and Dance Festival. I'm choir singer.
Took part in monitoring of Smooth snake (Coronella austriaca) two summers just to get rid of my scare form snakes. Didn't saw any not to say about Vipera berus and Natrix natrix. Stopped to afraid from snakes.

Traditional music, traditional ornaments, traditional food - I'm ready to learn and ready to teach. And I can teach you how to make felt birds. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some vegetarian food. I can give brief introduction in Latvia history, art, music, traditional culture and nature protection.
