ABOUT ME

I am originally from Lithuania, but been living in the UK for almost a decade - been studying Geology for most of it until recently I gained a PhD degree, and now working as a researcher for the Oil and Gas consultancy company in Leeds.

The worst mistake anyone could make is being too afraid to make one.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Initially I joined because I used to travel a lot, and loved meeting locals, staying with them, having been shown around.

Now I live with my fiancé and we don't get to travel as much as we would like due to limited holidays, however, we'd love to meet other travellers to brighten our days or so we could show them around and make their travels more interesting and fun.

Books: psychology and self-help, biographies. Perhaps favourite biography - 'Queen of the Oil Club: The Intrepid Wanda Jablonski and the Power of Information' by Anna Rubino. Self-help, perhaps 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth' by T. Harv Eker

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Did a road trip for 3 weeks with my best friend, hitch-hiking from Seville along the coast of Portugal and north Spain through France, Germany, Check Republic back to Lithuania - 5777km by 77 cars and 5 trucks, 16 different homes and 10 times facing police, one of which was an actual crime-fight!
