About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel as much as I could, as far as I can, as long as my money can last

ABOUT ME

I'm 20 this year, an undergraduate pursing a degree in Bachelor of Science (Economics) at Singapore Management University! Economics theories and how they apply in the real World really interest me! I do acknowledge that all these theories are based on the past and those related to the future are all based on forecasting (and hence, not 100% accurate) - so c'mon, give economists a break and stop blaming them for not being able to predict major economic crises :/The furthest I've traveled so far was to China and thus, I am really looking forward to my upcoming UK/Euro trip! Definitely a great opportunity for me to meet new people and experience something new!I am living with my family - parents & bro, as mentioned under "couch information", they may not be receptive to this whole CS idea yet :( So... If you have any idea/suggestion on how I could possibly solve this issue, do not hesitate to drop me a message. It would be much appreciated!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just going to surf for the time being as I'll be touring Europe! Am gonna persuade my mum to allow me to host when I'm back in Singapore! (:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed a number of times so far; Glasgow, Dublin, Brussels, Antwerp & Istanbul!

Interests

Spending time with my boyfriend & hanging out with my cliques! Totally love catch-ups, chit-chats and sharing gossips with my dearest friends!I also enjoy a good read during my free time. (Look under "Music, Movies, Books" section to see my favourites) I've always wanted to own the whole Sidney Sheldon Collection and have them in a small "library" at home in the future (:I like watching dramas (when I'm really really really free to watch all the episodes) and movies as well!Surprisingly, I'm not that into shopping or walking around the malls as much as I do in the past! I still need my occasional retail therapy though :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch all different kinds of movies, but find movies such as Inception (though a little mindfucked by it) and DeathNote (L is amazingly brillant) interesting. Books by Tess Gerritsen, Sidney Sheldon, Mitch Albom, James Patterson & Jodi Picoult. I enjoyed reading all of Sidney Sheldon's books, with "Tell me your dreams" and "Master of the Game" being my favourites! If you like suspense and twists in the storylines, you'd enjoy reading these books!(: Another really good book would be James Patterson's Cradle and All!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydived in Portugal!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Mandarin or Hokkien (a dialect)! & Maybe a few basic Chinese dishes (Don't have high expectations about this though)

I'm willing to learn what you're willing to teach (:

I can share with you the culture and traditions and maybe a little history about Singapore.
