I am getting a PhD in Microbiology at Yale University
I love to travel, I've lived in 6 countries and visited 51 countries!
I love getting to know new people, dancing, exploring, going on adventures, anything to do with water, reading...and just experiencing all that life and the world has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favorite parts about traveling is meeting locals and gaining a better understanding of their culture! I love doing the typical touristic activities but I also enjoy getting a chance to live like a local and explore the hidden gems of a place.

I've also heard that the CS community is quite incredible and I'd love the chance to become a part of it.

Unfortunately I can't host yet since I share an apartment with 2 other people but I look forward to having my own place one day and being able to host other surfers!

One of my favorite things to do while traveling is read. I recently read the year of yes" which inspired me to take a year off from my PhD to tr"avel and have some new experiences

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some of my favorite memories include:
-Bathing an elephant in Thailand
-Being blessed by the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala
-Free diving with over 20 sharks in Hawaii

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you French, Spanish, Haitian Creole or even some microbiology fun facts!
I'm happy to share a meal with new or a fun new experience
I'm also a certified yoga teacher and can give you a yoga lesson
