About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to make the most of life and give back
PHILOSOPHY
Don't cook fish in the microwave. Don't steal a man's TV. I believe these two rules are universal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Brenda: We usually have a bed or two available plus a couch and the floor for surfers. We have only couchsurfed a couple of times but LOVED it! We mostly just host wonderful travelers but are continuing our travels and experiences through couchsurfing.
Tim: This was her idea. I'm simply along for the ride. Although, I generally enjoy acting as tour guide and mouthpiece.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Brenda: Have had some amazing experiences with not only the CSers in the U.S. but a bunch of people from around the world who have surfed our couch. Some of our closest friends are the people that we have met through this community of people.
Tim: Couch Surfing terrifies me! Then again, so does regular surfing. I'm not the most adventuresome person, so it took me a while to warm up to this. However, I have told countless people that every experience has been positive so far, and we've enjoyed every surfer we hosted. When you come visit, ask about Turkey.
Interests
Brenda: Love reading and exploring new places. I often paint and reupholster when I have time. Love animals, vegan food, and sports.
Tim: Golf, tennis, and video games.
