We like travelling cheap and local. We're pretty spontaneous and always up for a good adventure, to see and do new things. Like meeting new ppl, especially cool to meet locals who can show us the sweet spots in their towns!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just joined, looking to couch surf, to meet up with ppl and to host when we get back from travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Chalsey:
Movies: I like fast paced action that also has the depth of a good story and most comedy. Avatar, The Hangover, Vanilla Sky, The Holiday, Any of Adam Sandler's old movies.

Music: I like laid back easy listening when I'm driving or hanging out and fast paced dance music when I go out. Jack Johnson, Norah Jones, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Nirvana, Alicia Keyes, CCR, Fleetwood Mac

Books: I love reading the classics (Pride & Prejudice, Emma, etc), The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is a great series, also murder mysteries - Michael Connelly is always enjoyable.

Roland:

Like action movies, I'm a bit of a history buff so anything about recent or ancient history, especially European, Extreme sports movies, I find them very good to learn from, Same applies for books documentary, non-fiction and fiction about history. Love to play guitar, therefore I love any music that you can play with a guitar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some favourites: Scuba Diving in Tanzania, lake Malawi, Great Barrier Reef, Fiji. White water rafting down the Nile River in Uganda (more an insane thing than a favourite!). Snowboarding all over the Rockies, getting charged by a black bear. Skydiving in Oz, trying out surfing in Costa Rica and Australia, eating the best lobster of our lives for $5 on Little Corn Island in Nicaragua and deep sea fishing - Little Corn Island is amazing and so relaxing and cheap!

Teach, Learn, Share

We have spent our lives in the outdoors and have a profound appreciation for nature, ask us about it, and you will learn!

We are both interested in learning different ways of cooking and some basics in Italian for our upcoming trip!
