ABOUT ME

I would see myself as a very friendly, warm and kind person. I like spending time getting to know similar, like-minded people. From my time travelling, I have fallen in love with South America, especially Chile! I am very considerate and can promise that I will be a respectful guest!

Yo me veo como una persona amable, simpatica y tierna. Soy bastante extrovertida. Me gustar pasar tiempo con personas quein tengan los mismos intereses. He estado en Sud America desde febero y estoy enamorda, sobre todo con Chile!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in abstract morality - that is, the idea of living your life in a beautiful and moral way, according to the teachings of the major religions, but without believing (I am not religious).

The more you put into things the more you get out of them.

My newest philosophy: travel as often as possible, even if it is somewhere close.

Interests

I love literature and read a lot. I also love music and play the violin and guitar. I listen to all different styles - rock, pop, jazz, classical, even salsa and reggaeton! I am always looking for new amazing books, albums or artists and love discussing what I am passionate about. I love sport - I play hockey (on grass not ice) and I like running, skiing, and surfing. I love dancing and am currently doing arab dance lessons. Furthermore I enjoy photography - I am not at all professional, but I like to make an effort and take what I think are beautiful photographs!

Me encanta la literatura y leo mucho. También me gusta la música y toco la guitarra y el violin. Escucho a una mezcla de estilos y siempre busco nueva música. Me gustar discutir sobre lo que me apasiona. Juego hockey (en césped no hielo!) y también me gustar eskiar, trotear y surfear. Me encanta bailar y estoy tomando clases de dance árabe acá en Los Andes. Además me gusta la photografía - no soy professional pero me esfruerzo, y para mi lo más importante sea que mis photos se ve bonitos!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book is 'Anna Karenina' and I also love 'One Hundred Years of Solitude', although it was too hard to read in Spanish! I have visited Pablo Neruda's house in Valparaíso and would love to read some more of his works. My favorite authors are Virginia Woolf and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. My favourite film is 'American Beauty'. My favourite artists are: the Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, the Beatles, Wild Beasts, Stevie Wonder, Laura Marling, Foals, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin... Among others!

Mi libro favorito es 'Ana Karenina' y también me gusta 'Cien Años de Soledad', aunque era demasiado díficil de leer en Español! Fui a la casa de Neruda en Valpo, y me gustaría leer más de sus obras. He escrito unas de mis artistas favoritas arriba ^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Chile to live with a family and teach in a local school! Also travelling completely by myself around South America.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am passionate about teaching. It is a beautiful thing and something I am proud to be able to say that I am quiet good at. Of course this means that I would love to help with English, if that is something you might be interested in. I would also like to keep practicing my Spanish so hopefully I can share thing with my host!!
