About Me

Ignacio, a 21 years old student of Geography of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I'm in Russia since April this year but I'm not sure when I'll be retourning. The one thing I'm sure is that as long as I'm there, I want to learn, breath and live the real Russian life.

Not a sports person (and football is REALLY important here in Argentina). I'm more intrested in languages, photography and politics and a llitle bit in cooking and arts in general. I think one of the main reasons for going to Russia is that I want to live the experiencie of actually living in a very diferent culture

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If traveling was just about getting cute pictures and going to museums, probably I wouldn' travel. Don't get me wrong: pictures and museums are great. But the most important thing about traveling it's knowing diferent people and cultures; and realizing how our most common habits can be the strangest thing to other person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have the WORST sense of smell you've ever hear of.

I cook Indian food with a Mexican Guy in Moscow while listening Tchaikovsky.

I've never smoke a cigarette in my life. I know I would never be able to leave it.

I once travel to a city for a date. And got stood up.

Teach, Learn, Share

Besides my languages, I've taken a course of the Red Cross about First Aids. I have some cooking skills (probably the most important it's that I've made craft beer!) but I'm intrest in learning a bit more (even more if it's foreign food).

About arts, I've learn a bit of singing and I can play some basic things on the guitar (I've also learn violin but I've forgotten ALL of it). But I'm also intrest in dancing and plastic arts (more watching than actually doing them)

Also, for the last 3 years we've been reciveing (my family and I) foreigner students in our house, so hopefully I will be "the foreigner" soon and I'll live the other side of the experience.

Most people that I've ask about what to put here told me I should said that I'm VERY good organizing things (events and schedules but also food in a fridge or fornitures in the house); such skill doesn't allways applies for how I store my clothes.

For some reason, I ended up doing hair cuts for many of my friends. Not sure why. But now I know a little bit of hairdressing.

Si no lo sé, lo invento. Si no la gano, la empato. Si no querés comprender, no lo debatas.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Wine or beer and a good talk in a mix of diferent languages.

A lot of useless random facts (mainly about geography).

An opinion in less than 10 seconds about anything you might ask.

Best things of a journey happen when they are not planed.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Brazil, England, France, Italy, Poland, Russian Federation, Spain, Turkey, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina
