About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people and broaden my mind as much as I can

ABOUT ME

I am quite a simple guy, who has been in his country (Uruguay) for long, and so it is time to travel, meet new people, places and cultures. I am not a very big fan of planning everything in detail, but I am aware that it is necessary to do some plans so that things can work out better. I am currently studying at Université du Québec and as soon as I finish in the end of April, I will go through Canada and the US until the end of May. When I return to Uruguay, it is my idea to finish my degree and set flight again to other places.

PHILOSOPHY

I´m not fond of personal philosophies as in phrases or mottos, but I do have certain beliefs which sort of "guide" some things in life. The most important one of them is about Sharing what you got, in the sense expressed by the Beatles: "the love you take is equal to the love you make"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just now, I will be in Montréal until April and travelling for one month afterwards. When I return, I will be more than happy to receive people willing to know Montevideo.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up to now, I have had no experience, but I am here because I believe it is a great way of traveling. If not on a couch, just meeting local people it is the best thing you can do

Interests

The local way of living life. I can say plenty of things about how things are done in Uruguay, but what about other places? The world is an incredible source of lifestyles I would like to know more about-
MAPS: I love them. Everywhere I go I like to get many of them, watch them and find out what they have to say. Maps give a wonderful sense of knowledge, and are one of the most useful tools you got.

Music, Movies, and Books

A movie I truly enjoy every time: Pulp Fiction
A book I enjoyed very much: Blindness, by Saramago
Music: almost all...a few exceptions apply (otherwise I would be cheating) but almost all kinds of music are good for me

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flew to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, an amazing and absolutely stunning nature master piece

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn about people and lifestyles on each country, customs, food and drinks, the family, what do they feel proud of...
I think I can lend a useful hand for those willing to understand the spanish language in a better way

What I Can Share with Hosts

My kitchen! I enjoy cooking new dishes or inventions
