Hello, my name is Ignacio. I'm from Santiago, Chile, but I've been living in the French Alps for a few years now. I spend a lot of time cycling because I just want to add up the kilometers and see how far I can go on the bike (I'm totally delusional 🤣). I consider myself an artist in the way I live (I also do different types of photography), but yes, friends, we also have to work to earn a living because not everything is travel and pleasure as social networks, including Couchsurfing, portray it. I'm a very selective person when it comes to opening up. I have many stories and adventures, but not everyone gets to hear them because I'm a good listener and don't end up talking much about myself 🤣. But if you're lucky enough, you'll get to know me 🙏🏼.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came to Couchsurfing because I was hitchhiking in Patagonia in the middle of nowhere during the summer of 2014, and a couple of travelers in their van stopped to take me to Bariloche. I didn't speak English at that time, and they spoke a little Spanish, so they told me about Couchsurfing (what it was in those days).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have too many adventures haha but well, doing the Vallée Blanche in Chamonix solo on a snowboard (a friend was supposed to wait for me but didn't, we're no longer friends 🤣) was one of the things I never thought I would do. For over 30 minutes, I thought I was going to fall into a crevasse in the glacier 🤣.

I don't know, I can teach some recipes for cooking in a simple and delicious way. If you're interested in photography, I can show you everything I know. I'm not a pro at anything, but maybe I'm good at several things 🤷🏽‍♂️.
