About Me

My main goal is to always try to move forward and open myself up to new experiences.
I feel like the key to fulfillment is to keep pushing forward and broaden your horizons every day.
Seeing new places, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures is one of the ways to do so.

Things I love:
Snowboarding, wakeboarding, MTB/Cross-country bike rides.
My work, surprisingly.
Getting my views challenged.
Sharing with/helping others.
Music. All kinds. The weirder - the better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This way when I'm traveling I can enhance my own and the host experiences more compared to if I'd live in a hotel. I think socializing is an important aspect of life.

When I'm hosting, I want to just spread the openness and good I got when I was hosted around, ensure people get the best impression of my city and meet new interesting people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Japan to sell speakers with my grandfather. Drank sake with Japanese executives.

Traveled across the US alone, for a month. Visited 6 cities & 5 national parks. Got stuck on a beach with a sports car.

Drank champagne with Lithuanian mafia thugs while a friend was being painted by an artist.

Oh wait, that's three. Crap.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've recently started collecting and indexing things about my home country that I love. If you're interested, I could tell you about the history and the present of the tiny country of Lithuania.

Anything career or Software Engineering related - how to kick off a career in IT, what would be a good approach to making a web application or an enterprise solution. What's agile, scrum, and how could we use them in everyday life. How to structure and distill goals in life and push forward with them.

Oh, and the travels I've been to. I have a few stories about the US & Japan.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to take you out to dinner and hear more about what kind of life is happening around you!
I could tell you all about what's happening around my life as well.
