My name is Ignasi, I'm from Barcelona, Spain.

I am 48 years old, I am planning a long term trip of 6 months and I will travel to Australia on July, August and September. I am a quiet person, I like to do sports, hiking, I am a vegetarian.
I love traveling, which I think is a great way to know new cultures and interesting people. I am a yoga teacher, I like to teach people and help them to relax, I like to give yoga classes

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing in order to have the opportunity to meet people from the countries I am visiting. To be able to share experiences and learn about the culture of the country in which I am. To be able to live and share good moments.

Learning new languages: I want to improve my English which is a language that I have studied for the last years. I think the best way to learn a language is to be in a country where it is spoken.

I also do this trip to learn about me, to get a better knowledge about me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like very different styles of music. Here few groups and singers I use to listen: Passenger, Tracy Chapman, Leonard Cohen or Snatam Kaur: I also enjoy listening chill out music, classical music, bosanova etc.

My favorite movies are:
Braveheart, Lawrence of Arabia.

Books:
Concerning the culture, hindu, Hinduism, yoga, relating to Buddhism, also books of autobiographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2008 I decided to make a 14 months trip around the world and this was one of my best experiences in my life, because I had the opportunity to visit 10 countries and very different people and cultures.

Im also happy to have done skydiving. :)
