About Me
Hi there 👋😊
My name is Igor.
I'm in India from February 2020
I'm a traveler! Like all of us, each of us, only the boundaries in which we move are different.
As soon as we begin to expand our borders to explore the world, certain tasks arise. And the question of money in this list comes first, agree ?!
In one of my trip I went to conquer Southeast Asia second time. My path clearly determined the direction through India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and other countries for the first half of the year.
But this time is different.
I want not just a ride around the countries as before, but I set myself the goal of finding an opportunity to earn and travel at the same time. Learning English and gain an experience and new knowledge in absolutely different areas.
I'd like to travel to explore!
That's what determines my path.
IVC Workaway helped me to do this.
I'll tell you quite a bit about it.
If you want to learn more, then there are a lot if information about this website on the Internet
In a nutshell, this resource is created for the exchange between the traveler and the host country, their skills and labor for living and eating, sometimes only for living. This is usually 5 hours of work per day, 5 days a week. The rest of the time you can devote to the study of the surrounding area, local culture, language or yourself. Often the host (the one who accepts you) suits you with a rich and interesting cultural program.
My experience today is three projects in two countries. And without hiding, I will say that this is not a forgotten, good and rewarding experience. In one of the projects, I was paid.
This way of traveling is available to any person, age and gender are not important, your nation or knowledge of English or local languages is not important. It is almost anywhere in the world and it is popular. Just open the site, enter the country in which you dream to get, find the host and contact him. Be ready to work for your adventures and you will discover this world for yourself without even having a lot of money in your pocket. It seems simple, and not quite. But...
A dream can always come true if you take the first step towards it.
Often everyone ask me, where did you get so much money? But I have no more of them than any working person.
The question is, how many do you need them to live in pleasure?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing in the hopes of meeting locals of the places I visit. Hopefully that way I will get to know the true nature of a place ( not a tour guides version), and make some great friends all over the world. Sharing knowledge and memories with people from vastly different cultures will make this trip of mine the best education in life I could possibly hope to achieve.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 24 years old, for the first time I traveled alone. I crossed seven countries for half a year by hitchhiking (Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia). Have met many good people, and have acquired a strong friendship around the world. I am fond of the culture of different Eastern countries, along the way I study local languages. I love hiking in the mountains, with tents and the guitar, starry sky and evening bonfires.
