About Me

Hey! I'm Igor. I am a computer science major that heard "you dont seem like and IT guy" many many many times

I've traveled to many countries, experienced different cultures, had lots of adventures, I've also gathered many unhinged stories. But, I've never used Couchsurfing. I want to join this community because I know I will fit perfectly in here. I hope that my presence on Couchsurfing, both as a guest and a host, will bring me even more wonderful people and memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people. I love solo trips and connecting with others! Couchsurfing seems perfect for expanding my social circle and sharing experiences.

As a host i would love to show people how beautiful Gdańsk and Poland could be and that not every Pole is upset and sad

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Blade Runner 2049 – I love it for its amazing quality and beautiful scenes.
Series: I'm sucker for mind-boogling or post-apocalyptyc (or even mix of them). My favourite series are Dark, 1899 and The Rain
Books: I enjoy non-fiction books on many different topics. I like variety and don't enjoy reading many books on the same subject.
Music: My favorite genres are EDM, Bounce, and Electronic, but not techno.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, a group of 10 friends and I bought cheap tickets to Cyprus. We had no plans except to see as much of the island as we could. We split into teams of two and started hitchhiking around Cyprus. We met many wonderful people, and some even hosted us! We slept on beaches and in abandoned buildings (I spent one night on a yacht, but that's a loooong story). It was an incredible experience that headstarted my travel lifestyle.

I've also hitchhiked 1500km across Portugal and Spain with friends. We visited every major city on the Iberian Peninsula in just a few days, meeting many amazing people along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share amazing travel stories, a smile, and a great time. I can also teach you some Polish language and culture and there are many thing to talk about :)
