About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel, learn and explore.

ABOUT ME

I am an open minded guy who loves to travel, bla bla bla. What is important is that i'm not a serial killer and i really enjoy exchanging experiences and travel stories with other travelers. Also talking about all kind of topics concerning cultures and nations is something which brought me to this site to meet all these interesting people. Talking about books and movies, yes please. I am crazy about languages and love to exchange tips and tricks on how to speak a foreign language.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel as much as you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Every person who loves to travel and meet new people is a friend of mine. If i can help a fellow traveler i will, whether with some information, tour around my hometown or by hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

You can't be an expert on CS because with every new person you meet, comes new experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I simply love learning languages. That feeling that you have once you set your foot on the foreign soil and start shooting out your sentences, phrases and twisted words, pushes me to become more and more interested in languages. You can't get to know a culture in a better way than studying its language.

Movies: I love movies that make you think and feel good when doing so like Baraka, Samsara, Ikiru, 12 Angry Men, The Hunt, Memento, Lawrence of Arabia, Wes Anderson films. TV shows like The Wire, Band of Brothers and The Office (UK version) :D

Music: The White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, Led Zeppelin, Muse, Manu Chao, The Who, AC DC, Pink Floyd and others but mostly music with guitar in it

Books: I love to read everything that comes to my hand but mostly i like to read philosophical fiction. Some of my favorite authors are Dostoevsky, Camus, Andrić, Hemingway, Balzac.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to say the most amazing thing I've done in my life is that i learned fluent Spanish in 2 and half months.
Also quitting my job and hitchhiking and Cuchsurfing for 3 months around the world is something I am proud of.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about fast ways of learning a language. Share travel stories, opinions and views on different topics. I am really good with capitals of the world :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know every single part of my hometown and since i'm a huge fan of history i can explain (if it can be explained) the troubled history of these parts and Balkans in general. When i travel i like to have the true traveling experience through meeting locals and hearing their stories, hearing and seeing something unique, trying local food and drinks in unknown (travel guide free) bars and cafes. So it is pleasure of mine to provide that kind of true travel experience to other fellow travelers.
