Im Igor and I am brazilian. I used to work with BI at Groupon Brazil. Nowadays my goal is to became a travel photographer.

I've never couchsurfed but I always respected the rules when I was visiting/travelling a friend's/relative's house and it will not be diferent if you decided to host me.

I like meet other cultures and people from every country. In 2016 I quit my job and did a backpack in South America (Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay) and on november 2017 I started my recent trip through Asia. I have been to India, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.

I love soccer, music, photography and movies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because I want to have a different experience as a backpacker through the South America. I wanna learn how local people live, places they frequent, the stories about the places, musics, movies, books and personalities of the the cities.

I love culture. I guess it is a way to understand people and yourself.

From Brazil I like to hear: Tim Maia, Tom Zé, Mamonas Assassinas, Mutantes, Lobão, Cachorro Grande, Vivendo do Ócio, Vespas Mandarinas, and others.
From other countries: Cuarteto de Nos, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Nirvana, Thin Lizzy, Stooges, David Bowie, and a lot of rock and roll music.

Books I read:

1984, Clockwork Orange, Brave New World, Animal Farm, Dom Casmurro, some Harry Potters (hahaha), and others.

Favorite movies:

Interstelar, Forrest Gump, Signs, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Inception, Karate Kid (with Mr Miyagi hahaha), Pulp Fiction, and others from Nolan and Tarantino.

Teach, Learn, Share

I often play acoustic and eletric guitar, then I can teach some basic chords and lessons.
Other thing I can teach is Excel, that is something that I used a lot in my job.

Nowadays I live with my parents, that's why I'm not hosting yet, but I have plans to host people from all over the world to live Brazil (SP).
