I am a brazilian filmmaker, editor and photographer. When I have som free time I usually travel to know a bit more of this imense planet. Meeting new people and live new cultures is one of the most satisfying things for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm running a new filmmaking project around the world. Couchsurfing seems to me a great oportunity for me to keep doing that.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I have a strong passion: Rock n Roll! I also love classical music and Brazilian Popular Music.
I just finished Robert Mckee's Story. It was like a college, teaching some fundamentals of screenwriting.
Books.. lets see.. A Brief History of Time, the Harry Potter franchise and some few others.
Movies..? Hm.. there are quite a few! Interestellar is my favorite of all time! I love the way Christopher Nolan make movies, with his non-linear storytelling, always bringing human values and conceptions to the surface.
I can tell some few more like The Matrix trilogy, the Heightful Eight and the Batman trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been through some amazing moments in my life. From driving in the desert for the first time at night, to meeting the members of my favorite rock band live! From riding a bike across Brazil, to leave it behind to perform a roundtrip in Europe, alone, at the age of 20! Too many storyes.. too many experiences.. to much to live yet!

I can share some of my knolege about cinematography, languages, brazilian culture, sports, music, politics, cooking. I love to share experiences and storyes, language and culture. Meeting new friends is the key to teach and learn!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in Rio. In a neighbohood a little bit far from Rios Downtown and touristic points. Its hard for me to have some free time, but if I do, I can show some places arround, some beaches, some cool spot and some brazilian culture.
