ABOUT ME

All about us - a couple, met at college. Sharing the same love for art and traveling. Big fans of music festivals. We like cycling - one of our biggest wishes is to cycle through Europe - at least the flat parts ;)
Ana says that Igor is the greatest guy in the world, after Matt Berninger :) he's friendly, funny, smart and will be your best guide anywhere.
Ana is alright... ;)kidding - she's lovable and easily gets under your skin.

We participate by spreading the good word about CS, promoting Zagreb and surfing couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new to the community as a couple but we met other surfers who stayed at our friends' place and showed them around. We hope our couch experience will increase significantly soon.

Centres d'intérêt

We both love art, film, music, cycling, beer, travel... Ana is especially interested in medieval and modern art and architecture, horseback riding, snowboarding. Igor is keen on contemporary philosophy, modern architecture and urbanism, 20th century art, classical music, skiing..

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Favorite directors are Bergman, von Trier, Haneke, Almodovar, Kieslowski.. Movies, just a couple of favs - Persona, Antichrist, Dekalog, Black Swan, Cache, Easy A, Wristcutters and many more.
Music - mostly indie. The National, Arcade Fire, Interpol, Sigur Ros, Cocorosie, Joy Division, White Stripes, Pixies, Pete & the Pirates and super many more. When it comes to classical - Bach, Skrjabin, Prokofjev, Šostakovič, Ligeti...
Books - Kundera (especially Immortality), Wolfe, Ugrešić, Murakami, Tolkien... Philosophy and Theory - Foucault, Barthes, Kant, Benjamin etc.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Igor funds his travels working as a piano teacher in music school. If you're into music, I'll be glad to show you the basics. If we meet during Winter, ski lessons can also be arranged. Ana is a French tutor and would like to learn Spanish. She also draws well.
Of course you could get an introduction to Croatian.
