Overview
About Me
(I'm NOT the llama.)
It's really hard to describe ourselves, isn't it?
Young (ish) Brazilian coming to Europe for the first time.
Language lover (I have some years of experience teaching languages and will gladly help guests/hosts improve their knowledge).
I'm an easygoing person, I like to talk (from cheap laughs to deep conversations), and I love to learn and teach pretty much any subject I come across.
Not the greatest cook, but I do have a lot of fun repeatedly failing in it. I've been cooking for myself for a long time and developing recipes on a weekly basis. I love trying new food, it's one of my great passions (maybe second only to travelling).
As I'm kind of a people pleaser, I hate the idea of being a nuisance. If you want to make me happy, offer me a chore around the house or at least tell me if I can help in any way. I mean it!
I usually try to be completely honest (people's feelings considered), and I do tend to get overexcited when meeting new people, so just tell me you are tired or if you are a calm person and I'll adjust accordingly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I absolutely love meeting new people, learning and exchanging experiences and knowledge.
I usually host for people I know or that were referred to me (outside CS), and it's one of the things I like to do the most. I love showing people around my city (and state), specially non-mainstream locations and hidden gems.
As a guest, I usually travel on a budget, so CS comes in handy. It's actually my first time seeking for hosts through here, and I'm excited to meet locals and get a proper sense of the life there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love art and entertainment in general, so It's hard for me to cite a few authors or titles. I'm usually more picky with movies because of my academic background, but in reality the only category I thoroughly dislike is "chick flicks" (in fact, I even hate the expression).
Film and Literature:
Count me in for Sci-fi (love dystopies), non-sense comedy (Monty Python), dense dramas or anything that questions the human condition. Also, there aren't many topics that won't draw my attention to a documentary.
Music:
From Classical (even though I have no technical knowledge) to modern Rock (Stoner, Prog, Post), Blues, Jazz and Bossa, is hard for me not to like something.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The day I walked up Huayna Picchu has to be one of the best of my life (hence the first picture).
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
Language (native PT-BR, fluent ENG-US, basic in a bunch of others),
Literature (for the crazy like me),
Basic guitar lessons (never taught it, but it might be fun),
Lots of simple veggie recipes (what I mostly eat), but I also know how to prepare Sushi and have experience with "guerrilla cooking for one" (kind of joking, kind of true - ask me if you don't know what I mean by this),
Learn:
I'm open to pretty much anything, really.
