Hi there! I'm Igor from Moscow region.
I'm open minded, considerate and friendly guy who loves travelling, making friends and getting new experience. I spend most of my time at work so I try to spend as much time as possible the most enjoying way - travelling.

I’m kind of a person who has itchy foot cause I’m really curious (too curious sometimes) so my curiosity makes me going abroad from time to time; sometimes with my friends but mostly alone. Most of my trips are absolutely spontaneous and based only on my wishes and opportunities (and also on cheap flights :D )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from all over the world to get new experience and also to make your life and my life a bit more interesting.
I'm not kind of a person who enjoys package holidays, luxurious hotels and all this kind of stuff, so Couchsurfing gives me an amazing opportunity not only to feel the spirit of the town you visit but also to meet interesting people and make new friends.

Interests

I really like history (especially European one) and arts. I also enjoy hiking, reading, nature, meeting new people, trying different food and discovering something new for me in general.
And, of course, travelling. I dream I could travel as much as I want and I do my best to make this dream come true.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to almost all kind of music. Actually I can't single out only one or two types of music, there is huge amount of bands and singers I like to listen regardless of its genre, in actually depends on my current mood.
Here are some of my favourite ones: Talco, Teleman, Abney Park, The Offsprings, Rome, Ludola, Diablo Swing Orchestra, In Extremo.

Favourite authors: Umberto Eco , Stephen Fry, Ray Bradbury, Andrzej Sapkowski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camped for the few days at national park in Portugal alone.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I want to learn: foreign languages (mostly German and Spanish but also other ones) and learn how to sail a yacht properly.

What I can teach you: Russian (or English, even though I'm not a native speaker) and literally anything about Russia. I can also tell you some useful tips about traveling to countries I've been to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you interesting (I hope so) stories, share my thoughts and experience. I'm not a great cook but I still can try to cook some basic Russian dishes if you wish.
