Born in Russia, raised and living most of my life in Germany I always felt that traveling is something I have to do one day. Last year, finally, I have decided to do the big jump and flew to Canada to live abroad for one year! What an amazing journey it has been, Vancouver, the Rocky Mountains, but as well the US! Now I am back in Germany and I am studying Chinese studies & National Economy. I want to travel Europe, learn more languages and see the world through a new filter!
I also hope to be more active as a host from October on, as soon as i am back in Freiburg :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Starting on Couchsurfing I didn't know what to expect. Now I am amazed and recommend it to everyone I know! Couchsurfing is a community, it is family! I would love to get to know each of its members and to share laughter and love all around the globe!

Interests

I enjoy traveling because it gives me a different perspective on things. I can grow and, by times, give something back, even if its only a smile or a great hug. Lets all connect and strive for mutual understanding!

Since I started University recently it might be that I have to go to Uni during the day and study as well. I am quite sry but I can't let you stay at my place without me since theres other people living with me! I am here for the people who are about the core of couch surfing, about friendship & sharing, laughter and love! Only request if you're about that as well :)

Languages: I am obsessed with Languages, currently I'm speaking Russian, German, English and French fluently - will start learning Mandarin in October! Communication is the most valuable skill in my opinion.

Music: I played guitar for several years already and I'm singing since I am a child. Furthermore I'm learning to play the Piano and I would love to learn how to drum or play the Djembe! - Music connects everybody, it's the language of our hearts.

Sports: I've played soccer all my life and I enjoy having a nice run. I also go to the gym here and then. Actually I enjoy pretty much every sport. - Staying fit is important, for body and mind.

Travelling: I live to learn, and to grow. You learn most by making new experiences, with stepping out of your comfort zone. - Travelling is life.
