About Me

CURRENT MISSION

New boots.

ABOUT ME

Hanging out in Florida for a few years while I get this PhD thing under control. Came into Orlando with great hesitation and ended up being pleasantly surprised - we've got ocean all around, swamps full of cool critters, rockets shooting off on the regular, and just enough going on in town to stay busy. Nary a mouse-hat wearing tourist to be seen if you play your cards right.

I can be pretty reserved at times, but enjoy events with people unabashedly just doing their thing (nerdy conventions, pride events, art performances...).
Pubs, dives, and specialty bars are great, but clubbing makes me a grumpy old man almost instantly.
I'm big on food, but am a vegetarian except for food-waste or travel/cultural dishes.

PHILOSOPHY

"Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women."
- Conan, the barbarian
