Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To break barriers and form bonds.
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Haifa, Israel. I moved to Münster, Germany in 2012 to pursue my goal of studying biomedical engineering. Up until now my experience abroad has been very rewarding. In Summer 2018 I worked on cancer research and nano-medicine. Nowadays I am doing a PhD in immunology.
I have been on CS Münster since 2014 and have already experienced a lot of positive situations with the various members of the community.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live, more or less. I dream of a world without prejudice or conflict. No barriers separating people, just equals sitting around a round table regardless of language, origin, color, or whatever. Being a vegetarian, I believe we should also live and let animals live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet many interesting new people and discover the world together with them. I am a very active member of the CS community in Münster, and I manage the community which consists of about 2000 people. I also organize the International English-speaking Table and host other events such as cooking events or parties sometimes.
Interests
I like to enjoy the finer things in life. I also like to experience new situations, no matter how unusual they might be. Every experience is rewarding in it's own way. I also have a soft spot for sweet food and dancing all night. Some conversation topics I find interesting are : science, spirituality, languages, animals, sports, cooking, and philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Trance (especially Psy or Goa), Rock (Western and J-Rock), Metal, Jazz, Reggae, Folk, and traditional music. A bit of old-school classical or country music is also nice.
Movies: Mainly Sci-Fi, fantasy, thriller, and adventure movies. I have a big soft spot for Kaiju films.
Books: Anything based on understanding the world around us, be it nature or ourselves. History books and autobiographies are also good, and poetry has a certain beauty to it, which is found nowhere else. Some favorites of mine include: Richard Dawkins, Carl G. Jung, Joseph Campbell, Yuval Noah Harrari, and Edgar A. Poe.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Puufffft.... this is a question that's hard to answer. My life has generally been full of unusual experiences, some of which could also be considered amazing. It's impossible to pick just one, as our experiences are what makes us who we are, and every experience that I've had helped contribute to the way I am today, I haven't had just one eye-opening life changing-experience, but rather many of those, and each of these experiences adds a little grain of salt to the salad that is my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
Knowledge in fields such as cooking or languages. I like learning about new cultures and teaching others about the ones I am already familiar with. I am a vegetarian but I am also a very curious person. I will not try any meat or mushroom containing food but I will listen passionately when you tell me about it.
I can also share my scientific expertise in fields such as biology or nano-medicine. Please question me about it though, I do not like monologuing.
