ABOUT ME

I'm a mechanical engineer, working in my first "real" job since graduation. I'm still trying to travel as much as possible and meet new and interesting people, and CS has been one of my favorite ways of doing both!

PHILOSOPHY

I think we should all be trying to create the world we see in our minds: make the music you want to hear, the food you want to eat, and the community you want to live in.

I don't get away from home as much as I'd like to, but I try and host anyone I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've traveled the world, and done lots of surfing in lots of countries. Everyone I met, everywhere in the world, was absolutely amazing, and since I've returned I have been trying to give back to that community that showed me so much hospitality!

Interests

I'm a big geek, and I love sharing that with people- B-movies, board games, comics, and anything out of the norm. I love food, especially cooking something I've never tried, and I love to get outdoors all year round for hiking, cycling, and skiing. And of course, I love music, movies and books!

Music, Movies, and Books

I've got pretty diverse taste- too many favorites to list. Metal, punk rock, jazz, blues, funk... anything that had someone's blood, sweat, and tears put in to expressing themselves.

I watch a lot of movies, and I read a lot of books too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled across India on a motorcycle! It was ridiculous and amazing, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
