ABOUT ME

Lisa: Grew up in Massachusetts. I've lived all over the east coast. A majority of my time was spent in Richmond, VA. I've been in Philadelphia for almost two years now and love it. I'm a bit of a geek. Very into music (I collect records) and comic books and my cats.

Matt: Grew up in Madison, WI. Very into music as well and plays guitar. Moved to Philadelphia about a year ago from Boston, MA.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend of mine from Richmond has been doing the couchsurfing thing for a little while now and suggested we try it out. Looking forward to meeting new people and getting out of the house to explore a bit more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just finished reading William Gibson's Mona Lisa Overdrive. Also just finished When Gravity Fails by George Alec Effinger. It's really good if you're into the cyberpunk, which I am. Other favorites? Neil Gaiman's "American Gods" (though basically anything he's done has managed to rock me.) Tom Robbins "Still Life With Woodpecker", Isabelle Allende "Stories Of Eva Luna", Neil Stephenson "Snow Crash", Tim Sandlin "Sex and Sunsets". I recently just read a bunch of Christopher Moore books too and I'm super digging those. I picked up a copy of The Ethical Slut too which is a pretty interesting read. (I'm also a bit of a poetry nerd but shhhh! That'll ruin my hardcore cred.)
