FIRST OF ALL - We are living town called Toholampi (80km from Kokkola). As we would like to host travelers, we have to put our adrdess next big city so all people looking for host from the area can find also us. Unfortunately Couch Surfing organization haven't think about countryside people that much! :)
So now you know where we live and you can think about us twice.

When traveling we are not so much interested in tourist attractions but meeting local people and seeing places and things from a local point of view. For example listening to live music or enjoying local food. If there is an opportunity we are happy to discover nature.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect nature and other people around you so you will get much more you give. There is always need for little downshifting and thinking that I can survive with less.

Mostly we surfing because we are living in small village in the middle of nowhere that no-one travels here! ;) But our home's doors are open for all of you who desire bit different place to visit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We where traveling through Central America and we hosted by nine wonderful and helpful persons. Without these people our trip would have been just a holiday without deeper touch to the culture and people!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Traveling by train through Eastern Europa was eyes open experience. The trains where so old that you could feel the pass decades and the landscape which was totally diffeerent than in Finland makes me feel like this is the thing I´m looking from travels.
