ABOUT ME

I'm a happy 33-year-old girl from Northern Finland, who loves getting to known to new people and learning about different cultures and languages!

Traveling around the world has always been a big dream of mine and after my exchange year in Mexico I've dedicated all my spare time and money to be able to do it! I'm not too picky about destinations because I'm definite that you can find good friends from anywhere in the world, if you are open-minded and accept different point of views. After having said that, I still have to admit that Latin America has a special place in my heart:)

I study translating Spanish and I've also tried a bit of interpreting during my studies. I've always been interested in different languages and that's why I love to learn some things in all the languages I get to known to during my travels.

I've also love dancing and doing all kinds of sports. I'm a very social person and I find it quite easy to get to known to new people. That's why I think CS is such a perfect system: you get to known to a new place AND local people at the same time!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live: people may not have the same way of thinking but it doesn't mean they are not right:) You might aswell learn something from them!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've stayed with various lovely people I've met throw CS. Unfortunately I haven't been able to host anyone while I live in a really small apartment.

Interessi

Besides traveling I love all different sorts of music (only excluding very hard rock/heavy metal), dancing, food, ice cream, long relaxing days at the beach, sunsets and sunrises, walks in the nature, enjoying the view of a lake on a Finnish summer night, mid night sun, reading a good book, going for a run, summer festivals, people watching and that amazing feeling when you realize you are getting really well along with a person you've just met:)

Musica, film e libri

I like pretty much all kinds of movies except science-fiction and action. Romantic comedies for when I want to cheer up, drama, fantasy...

My favorite music is probably latin music, including salsa, pop, rock, rap, reggeton, etc. I also like Indie rock, pop, reggae, ska and so on.

I love books with a good story! Also chick lit works especially when I want to relax and not think about anything too serious.
