About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life throughout the world
ABOUT ME
After finishing up a university degree in America, I left to go on travels throughout the world. Since then I have been living and working in various places, having adventures upon adventures and meeting some great people along the way.
I love to ride BMX, more specifically flatland, and I love cultures and learning all about them through language and cultural traits and so.
As of now I am making my way teaching English and plan on continuing on to a field in intercultural communications. We'll see how that goes for me.
Otherwise I am always up for some good times and just enjoying life while I'm still here!
PHILOSOPHY
Mein Name ist Mensch. Ich weiß, daß du mich kennst.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Spreading the good word of Couchsufers and hosting and surfing when I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had nothing but great experiences with Couchsurfing ever since I started participating around 5 years ago.
Interests
Flatland BMX, riding bicycles, reading books.
I have a general interest in just about all topics and love discussing everything. To narrow it down, some of the things I like are music (especiall Rock and Metal) Geo-politics, cultural traits and customs. Languages are something I really enjoy and I like to talk about the different experiences everyone has with them.
Other than that I am no stranger to the local drinking establishment and like to go out with friends.
Cooking is another thing I really like to do. I especially like cooking things I have eaten from different countries.
Maybe one of these days I will write a cook book!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: My favorite movies are dramas and movies that force you to think in general. I like documentaries, but I am not scared to watch some pointless comedy every now and again.
Music: Metal is my favorite genre, The Black Dahlia Murder being my favorite band, but I can jam to pretty much anything.
I also have a soft spot for women singer/songwriters. I love music from Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Feist, Regina Spektor, Zaz, Ingrid Michaelson and others.
I also enjoy reading. I like a range of things from The Brothers Karamazov to the Zombie Survival guide.
I also enjoy Ancient Greek works and such: Aristophanes, Sophocles, etc.
I am not someone who often reads current or newer books. I feel that there are so many things to read that were published who knows how long ago, that I need to catch up first!
Right now I am reading "The Archipelago Gulag" by Alexander Solzhenitsyn.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to Germany and Austria. Drove a 2008 Ford Rousch edition Mustang at 120mph
Climbed the billion steps (501 approx.) of the Kölner Dom Turm. and viewed the city bird's eye style.
Climbed the tallest grass mountain in Europe, the "Gamskarkogel" and had a close encounter with a poisonous flower.
Teach, Learn, Share
