About Me
Moro! ("Hi" in Finnish!)
Warm-hearted gal from cold northern country hellohello!
I'm easily excited, addicted to woolen socks, interested in neuroscience and I love animals, especially dogs and bunnies.
Sometimes I tend to be too careful but over the last couple of years life has shown me that it really does start outside of my comfort zone (oh what a cliché).
In my usual daily life (besides studying and working part-time) I participate in student organizations, exercise, read books and breath music. My latest projects have been: decoration my new studio flat with almost zero-budget and trying to eat more veggies and less meat.
Since I'm travelling with my little sister Enni, I should tell something about her too. Enni is the nicest person I've ever known. She is altruistic in every way but also good company to hang out with. She loves to cook and always makes people laugh!
We both are also very Finnish in a way that we are very polite and thoughtful guests.
We've both travelled somewhat a lot but not even nearly enough.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well there are lots of reasons.
First, I believe in this kind of sense of community. Meeting and greeting, sharing and caring!
Second, usually you get much more out of travelling when you hang out with locals or people who have lived in the destination for a while. Especially if you have limited amount of time.
Third, couchsurfing makes travelling possible even with a smaller budget.
Fourth & the most important: adventures!
Interests
My music taste is very broad and I'm always eager to find new favourites. At the moment my playlist includes Alt-J, Mew, Arctic Monkeys, Moon Hooch, Kasabian, Bonobo and Paul Kalkbrenner. If you have any new suggestions please feel free to share!
I love food, just love love love. My all-time favourite is Italian, but almost anything goes. It would be very cool to learn some new dishes while travelling.
Also photographing, you can't see me without my camera.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I visited northern parts of Thailand few years ago and I tried bamboo-rafting. It was fun as it was but then we bumped into an elephant who was bathing in the middle of the river. Nobody got hurt and the elephant friendly patted me with it's trunk.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn about the history of the cities I visit. Also my cooking skills need sharpening. Not to mention German...
I know how to do marshmallows! And I can teach you Finnish swear words of course.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand
