ABOUT ME
I love travelling, linguistics, queer books and photography. Everywhere I go, I keep an eye out for great food, nice scenery, unusual architecture, peculiar accents and languages, awesome graffiti and hospitable people. I especially enjoy travelling by train. Most of the best graffiti I've seen is to be found along the train tracks in the outskirts of Paris. I'm an artist at heart.
As a student I couldn't afford... anything really. As a teacher I've kept the sense of wonder and creativeness that comes with travelling on a budget. When experiencing a new place, I usually look for local foods and places to sit quietly and observe the locals.
Every once in a while I go somewhere exotic, but usually I'm a tourist in my own country, making weekend trips by car or train.

Music, Movies, and Books
As a student of English linguistics as well as literature, I'm a sucker for the classics. Austen, Poe, Shakespeare - bring 'em on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing scenery leave me in awe. Jotunheimen, a national park in Norway, stands out as the most amazing hiking experience I've ever had.
Paris is the most beautiful city I've visited. No other place have I experienced such a sense of calm amidst millions of people.
