About Me

CURRENT MISSION

growing with love, with the sun, and growing to stand tall against the big blue sky.

ABOUT ME

my roots are in colombia, on the andes mountain region to be exact, so when ever i wake up and look out the window i see these strong mountains with pairs of clouds dancing by and it all feels so right. i turn to writing and photography to capture what i got to say, and love it when new forms of expression are turned over to me. i respect what mother earth gave us, and i work with what i got to create what i want.

Music, Movies, and Books

i watch alot of movies, and then i rewatch them until i start feeling deja vu. silence is sacred, but music rips all that i've been feeling all that's been coiled up in my belly and like fireworks it explodes all over the sky. books taught me to believe.

on the real, i really enjoy erykah badu, james baldwin, nina simone, django reinhardt, bell hooks, feminist science fiction, folk, my subscription to the new yorker, hubert selby jr. and tom waits. put a lot of folk and hip hop into the mix as well as cumbia, funk and river phoenix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

either by water or on a mountain, closing my eyes and listening in. i love feeling that electricity. what make's me feel alive.

Teach, Learn, Share

let's speak in spanish, or with patience teach me any languages that you know. good soup recipes, please. swap growing stories. i should learn how to whistle and play the guitar. i can help you bind books and make art journals.
