I am easy going, straight forward, random, friendly and nice most of the time but a tyrant if you are a one. My family is my life. I am more comfortable when I am on my own, am extremely sarcastic and I talk back and speak my mind. I choose right over wrong, open minded and enjoy my freedom. I love to explore and I love surprises. I enjoy metal music and appreciate art and love the smell of fresh cut grass.

Many make sacrifices for themselves, so that they can be better. But some sacrifice for others. I make my life by being a true hero!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting, surfing, hanging out and making great friends.

I try to make people comfortable in environments they are not familiar with, so just helping by giving directions, a warm smile, a home-cooked meal, some emergency travel items, kind words, spending time, sharing what I know, and making little differences in life of a fellow traveler, I believe can make a great difference.

Besides as a fellow CS puts it: " CS helps me bring the world me!"

Interests

Main interests: Beautiful scenery, kind people, mindfulness.

I am interested in everything on Earth; reading, travelling, mountain climbing, ornithology, rowing, helping the elderly and the needy, public speaking, public relations, water falls, amateur photography, writing, snow and sunshine, story telling, nature, walking, all kinds of sports, and many many more!

Some of my lovely interests are:
Slow mornings.
Sunset walks.
Waking by the water at day break.
Rain. . everything in and out rain.

You will be able to find many mutual interests with me, and even if not, I will be very interested in getting to know and sharing your hobbies and interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite bands are, all time metal pioneers! I am a die hard rock and a metalhead. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, System of a Down, Nirvana, Bonjovi are my favourites!

I prefer any action, thriller and scientific fiction, sometimes watch comedies too but no romance.

Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, The Digital Fortress, Angels and Demons are my favourites also to mention Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist and The Adultery are my favourite books too.

LEARN:

Cooking and Language.

I would like to learn how to cook a simple delicious meal as well as a few words from your language. So if you kindly bring a simple easy to follow language book from your country and teach me, that will be wonderful.

TEACH:

Meditation and mindfulness.

Sinhala(Sri Lankan) and English language if you like to learn )
Also I can help you practise basic Tamil, Hindi or any other language you are learning, as I am extremely interested in languages.

Appreciation of literature.

Amateur identification of Sri Lankan urban wetland birds.

Medicine.

Net-working and image-building.

Public speaking: Would love to share the tips I know in public speaking and leadership.

My friends think I am well organized, so can give you a few tips on that too )

What's really not to learn, teach and share? As long as we are openminded and willing. Then the possibilities are endless.

Due to many interests and hobbies I have, there will always be something that you could newly start with me!
