ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy-going guy who loves to travel and has mostly done hostel stays during those trips. I'm interested in jogging, crossfit, wellness and having fun.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't get worked up over most things. Once you've accomplished that, the things that do get you worked up - spend time there. Generally, thoughts become things, so be deliberate with your thoughts. Have fun and do what you want to. We got one chance at this thing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't hosted yet, and can't because I'm on the road currently, but have recently connected with some hosts that have just raved about the experience. So, I'm looking forward to doing that once I have a base again. I'm definitely going to try to surf over the course of the next 9 months as I hit the road, in hopes of connecting with the local community more so than I could expect to in a traditional hostel/hotel setting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only met people who've surfed and hosted, so I haven't had any direct experiences yet.

I think Ankgor Wat is probably the thing I'm most excited to think about that I have done. It was just a glorious day that started before dawn and allowed me to explore these amazing temples from another time in deep shadows and mostly alone.
