Heya! I'm Juhani, a 30-yo guy who used to work all his life. I started working intensively before I was 14 and finally after 15 years it is time to see the work from a wholly different angle. For me, now it's time to hit the road!

My girlfriend and family have been really couraging towards my trip, now that I'm leaving my lovely home country for a couple of years. I'm really communial person and I really enjoy meeting new people.

Currently I'm spending so much time travelling, that I don't have a regular address. However, if you decide to arrive to Central Finland, feel free to contact me and I'll be most likely able to help you out :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm starting a vagabonding era in my life and this is apparently a handy way to meet new people and gain experiences, local knowledge and accommodation on the way :) I'm attempting to go around the Globe without using aeroplanes, so it will take a while. I'm also a teacher and I'm going to teach some lessons in local schools while travelling.

Interests

I'm curious of so many things it's tricky to even list them. Psychology, social lifestyle, arts, good food, sports, religions, politics to name a few. List is growing all the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play guitar and a little of any other band instruments. Currently my favorite book is Vagabonding by Rolf Potts, I warmly recommend you to read that classic if you already haven't!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh boy, which to choose! Life in general has been generous and filled with wonders... One fantastic moment was in Taiwan, when me and my friends built a crude spa in the middle of the jungle out of a hot spring and a crystal clear dew. Local men arrived there by coincidence, we made friends and held an in memoriam -moment for one of their deceased friend and had a barbecue-evening while monkey families played in trees around us.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching has been one of my passions my entire life :) whether it's sports, health science, psychology, yoga, dancing, guitar playing, cooking, chess, you name it!

I'd really like to learn how to surf! And learning is my passion as well, almost no matter what to learn :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Tales and stories down the road are naturally to be shared! Also I can provide professional help considering physical activity and health free of charge.

My curiousity and my ears to hear my hosts stories and moments of music and jamming would be great :)

I've also owned a food truck called Raw intola, if you want to check out Facebook. So cooking is also one of my passions!
