About Me

IMPORTANT: Unfortunately I am currently living with flatmates who don't embrace the couchsurfing experience, so I can't host anyone.
Couchsurfing is more to me than just being used as a free hostel. I host very often, but only with people that show genuine interest in staying particularly with me. So write a personalised review that shows you have read my profile and why it would be interesting for me to host you. Your chances will increase a thousandfold!
And don't hesitate to bring a magnet or a postcard from the country you're from or visited lately if you want to be forever part of my memory wall on my fridge. Or even better, a free map or a poster for on my wall!

Young, starving to see the world and always in for an unexpected adventure. I love to travel the unknown and unwalked paths, the things hidden for tourists. I appreciate taking my time for things. I'm always in for a nice conversation. If I am not too tired, I love a good deep conversation, be it political or philosophical.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is my second nature and that doesn't have to be expensive. But even more important, it should not be unpersonal. I dislike the walk from my hotel to the hop-on-hop-off stop, back to the swimming pool. Instead, I love to meet people and places while digging deep and exploring the unknown.

Interests

Discussing politics, being idealistic and reading books. I play the bassoon and I am a student representative, in the first place of the building you will be staying in.
I have an open mind and I am very curious. I have a hundred and one strange interests, passions and habits -one of them being public transport (I love just to sit in a bus or train for hours, or look them pass by).

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything is good, until the contrary has been proven.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The choice is hard, the amount of amazing things that have happened to me has gotten pretty vast. If we meet up, I would be more than willing to share some of them with you!

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages, history, debates about political, philosophical and ideological matters. I want to learn as much as possible, so hit it!

If you could teach me some vegan cooking, that would be much appreciated. I am a disaster when it comes to preparing my own meals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to share ideas and cultures, out-of-the-box thinking, stories and languages. I like to share my time and my student room* to show you the beauty Belgium has to offer. I would love to guide you around. I deepened myself in the noble art of showing people around through the most beautiful places of Belgium, be it Brussels, Bruges or Antwerp. But most of all, Ghent, my hometown and one of the most beautiful and underrated cities of Western Europe.
As a polyglot and former language student, I can teach you some languages. I can take you climbing or rowing or teach you some music.
I am always up to being your next pen pal!
