Über mich

CURRENT MISSION

Keep smiling to the world and trying to make everyday a happy day!

ABOUT ME

** Write me to check if I can make my time to meet up, which I'd be happy to, when possible **

A local. Would agree to meet up in Phuket town, and not really Patong beach, unless I'd go partying, LOL!

***THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW***

The name "PHUKET" is pronounced Poo-get (like pooh-get, not foo-get or F*CK IT!) ** The TH and PH names in Thai are supposed to be simple T and P like THailand is Tailand, and Phiphi is Peepee, and not fee fee!) **

Tap water is NOT potable in Phuket!!!

** WARNING: Patong is known as the most popular and the most populous (with tourists) beach here, so you're now well aware of that fact. Stop complaining how touristy Patong is, because that's where tourists go!!! If you are a traveler, go other beaches! and oh, Bangla road is like a red light district in the area, don't ever complain you never met locals there, because we, locals, RARELY hang out in that area! You're WARNED. I'm tired of hearing such complaints**

Phuket has its own local dishes which are different from Thai foods!!! We have our own dialect, too!

Check out "Weekend Market, aka "Naka Market", "Chillva Market", "Lard Yai" (only on Sunday). They're all open-air markets/bazaars.

Phuket has gotten worse with traffic, due to many on-going constructions.

An app called "GRAB" might come in handy, you can compare TAXI price with the local ones, you have options now :)

What to do when it rains? Go to awesome massage shop: 3rd floor of Big C Phuket, Rain Tree Spa (in Phuket town, next to Sino House Phuket), Kim Massage in Phuket town (Near Robinson shopping mall), check out Museums: Phuket Thai Hua (Krabi rd, Phuket town), Phuket Mining Museum (Kathu), or check out some shopping malls?

Get a local sim card to ensure you'll have mobile internet. Wifi is still limited in only certain shops or restaurants.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is good. Do what you love, love what you do"

"Vacation is what you take when you can no longer take what you're taking"

"Life, if well lived, is long enough"

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Life, itself, is already amazing! However, I happen to be one of the clumsiest human being ever. I always get lost in an unknown place, always have difficult time to memorize directions, etc. So my way out is asking every single human being I meet along the way, and from that point, a lot of time, they turn to be "FRIEND-MAKER".

So you can tell, I talk to strangers a lot! And I find it quite an exquisite experience!

I have traveled for a month in Europe all by myself with an Interrail pass, and it is one of the most wonderful thing I've ever done!

I was in 3 different countries in 1 day x) -Italy- Switzerland-France

Had gelato everyday for 7 consecutive days in ITALIA
