Overview
About Me
I never planned on becoming a world traveler. It just sort of happened after a spontaneous hitchhiking trip to Bosnia ignited a lifelong passion for exploration. From cramped vans and budget hostels to dense rainforests and snow-capped mountains, I've embraced the unexpected. Whether I'm attempting to play classical piano (let's just say the neighbors might disagree) or navigating a foreign language, I'm always up for a challenge. From canoeing to rock climbing, I find solace and excitement in both the great outdoors and indoor pursuits. And when I need a mental break, I turn to a good game of chess, lose myself in the rhythm of a dance or a flow of a pool. My life is a constant adventure, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always been fascinated by different cultures and ways people percieve life. I believe that the best way to truly experience a place is to connect with the people who live there. Couchsurfing allows me to do just that, whether I'm exploring a new city or hosting travelers in my own home. I'm excited to share my experiences and learn from others.
Interests
I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie, so you'll often find me outdoors, whether it's canoeing down a wild river or scaling a rock face. I also enjoy the quieter moments, like losing myself in a good book or a challenging game of chess.
When I'm not exploring the world, I'm often behind a camera, capturing moments and stories. Lately, I've been delving into the world of programming and data management, which has been both challenging and rewarding.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
While I do enjoy a good Czech folk song, my musical tastes are pretty eclectic. I'm always up for discovering new sounds and rhythms, whether it's a classic rock anthem or a modern electronic beat.
Movies:
I'm a film buff who appreciates a good story. From classic cinema to modern masterpieces, I enjoy analyzing the director's choices. I've even had a chance to work behind the scenes on a few films, which has given me a unique perspective on the filmmaking process.
Book:
I haven't quite conquered the entire literary world (yet). From classic novels like "The Little Prince" to thought-provoking non-fiction like "Sapiens," I love a good story. Lately, I’ve been diving into some programming books, but don’t worry, I still find time for a good old-fashioned novel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Realized why people need to talk and decided to really listen instead of pushing my thoughts and ideas to other people heads
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always eager to share my knowledge and skills with others, and I'm equally excited to learn from them. Whether it's teaching someone to play a musical instrument, sharing tips on sustainable living, or simply having a deep conversation about life, I'm always up for a good exchange of ideas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a seasoned traveler and adventurer, I can share stories and insights from my journeys around the world. I'm also a great listener and enjoy engaging in deep conversations about life, philosophy, and current events. If you're looking for a travel buddy or simply someone to chat with, I'm your person.
