I'm 26, female. I grew up in Gran Canaria and Brighton and I've lived in Brighton for the past 11odd years. I worked as a professional dance for about 10 years and since then have worked as a make-up artist/travel agent/baker, and some others.

Because my friend and I are currently travelling, we are unable to host anyone; but once we are back in the UK we will be opening our doors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling as much of the planet as possible and I love meeting people. I've stayed in hostels before but I prefer couch-surfing because you get to experience that place from the point of view of a local.

Some of my favourite artists are:

Ben Howard, Sia, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, The Temptations, Michael Jackson, The Ramones, Sex Pistols, the Beatles, Daughter, Two Door Cinema Club, Vampire Weekend and many others. I like listening to all types of music from the 1920's up, and some classical music.
Movies range from Enemy at the Gates, Life of PI, Bridget Jones Diary, Star Trek and many others.
Books include Alice in Wonderland, Jane Eyre, but I prefer non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I nearly touched a shark whilst snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef; that's by far one of the best moments of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been learning English sign language on and off for a few years and I pick up languages extremely quickly so I'd love to learn more than the basics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Both my friend and I are good at cooking and we have a huge range of interests so we're quite sociable people. Because I own a home in the UK I'm also responsible and respectful because I know what a home can mean to a person.
