CURRENT MISSION

My goal is to experience other cultures and lifestyles; rather than go on a typical tourist vacation, I want to be immersed in genuine culture and learn how people see and do things differently in different parts of the world.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a large suburb of New Jersey near Philadelphia and moved to New York City. I love the city life -- so much culture and people around all the time, but I also am blown away by nature since I never had the opportunity to be immersed in it for extended periods of time. No matter the location, I am never bored -- I think that any situation offers something worthwhile -- a valuable lesson, at the very least. Maybe for this reason, I consider myself very open minded, since I know I will see a value in almost anything I do, especially if it's in good company. Last, I am a bit of a nerd -- about things like music theory, grammar, and good TV shows and games. I also consider myself relatively physically fearless; if you want to go walking on cliffsides or galloping on horses, I'm in.

PHILOSOPHY

I try my best to live in the present and appreciate every moment as it is happening. I also believe in approaching the world as though it always has your best interests in mind.

兴趣

I love to come across new and interesting music/concerts, and visit art museums/galleries. I also love to sing and write both words and music. Hiking/walking is one of my favorite activities especially when traveling as it provides both physical and -- depending on the terrain -- mental challenges, and scenery all in one! I love to go out, and I'm also happy to stay in and watch a movie or play cards or board games... or some 8-bit Nintendo.
