ABOUT ME

I am under the philosophy that you only live once. With that said, I tend to busy myself up a lot and not have time for a lot of the fun things that someone with a philosophy as such should do! It's a toss up, though!

I like to maintain a positive attitude. I have a bad habit of eating sweets before going to sleep, and then, wondering why I did it. I love cats - a lot. I also like dogs, though, and other animals. I am into adventuring, but sometimes need to the extra push. Right now, I am studying at the University of British Columbia to obtain my Masters degree in English Literature. I would like to use it to teach, and I do think it has really broadened my ability to understand just what the point of studying English at school is (I question I get asked a lot by my First Year students).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just starting off on Couch Surfing, as my friends have been talking about it for awhile. I have met couch surfers hosted at friends houses, and seen what a cool and beneficial program it is. These couch surfers had been brought around by my friends into their lives, able to explore their community, etc. What a cool program that allows total immersion in another person's way of living!

Currently, I am planning to travel this summer, but next year.. I'll have an open couch.
