I am afflicted with an awful case of wanderlust and am always looking for adventure. I want to travel the world, read a lot of books and learn a lot of things. I am a writer who is always looking for inspiration for my stories, hoping I will get to search every corner of the world. I'm easy-going and open to new things, though I can be a bit snarky and sarcastic. I also have a couple of bad habits, like driving too fast, making too many lists, taking long showers, working too much, swearing a lot and accidentally injuring myself.

I couchsurfed for the first time in 2013. I was traveling by myself across Europe at the age of 20. I did this as I tend to do everything in life, with lots of determination, a little too much planning to start out, a burst of spontaneity once the adventure began. I fearlessly slept on couches, on the edges of stranger's beds, and in the backseats of cars. It was the most amazing trip of my life, and couchsurfing is what made it possible. I will never forgot all the amazing people I met, and the fantastic experiences I had because couchsurfing.com brought us together. I hope the next journey I take lives up to those amazing five weeks I spent gallivanting around Ireland, The Netherlands, Italy, France, and England.

Have you ever seen an ice storm? There was this night, back in 2008, where my sleep kept getting disturbed by what sounded like gunshots. I slept through it anyways, to be honest. It takes a lot of noise to wake me up. But when I did wake up and look outside I saw something really amazing. All the trees had a thick coat of ice on them. More than an inch. They were weighed down so much that many of them had fallen in the night, making those loud splitting, cracking noises I had heard while half dreaming. The world was one big icicle, trees were down on our cars, roads were too dangerous to travel on. At our house we lost power for a week. Oh, what an adventure that was.

I would love to share anything I can! I have tutored people in creative writing, basic computer skills, how to make a really good cheesy Alfredo sauce... I'm not an expert at much, but anything I know I can try and teach.

As for what I want to learn... the list could go on forever! I want to learn how to make authentic Italian cuisine, how to surf, snow board, pilot a plane, ride a motorcycle. I want to know how to speak languages! I feel so stupid for knowing only one.
