ABOUT ME

We are a retired over 65 couple, well educated, professionals, well read and traveled. We both have devoted a major portion of our lives helping others. Currently in retirement we are very involved in feeding the less fortunate via food banks.

Travel is one of many personal passions we frequently indulge in.

We are natural born water bugs having grown up on the shores of Lake Michigan and the warm tropical beaches of southern Florida.

Camping and hiking are other personal passions.

Hosting couch surfers has become a new reward for our lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been couch surfing as hosts and guest for less then a year. It has been wonderful for us in that we have met people who have become FOREVER friends. This is something that is indeed special.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is limited by the short time period we have been couchsurfing. However, we have been blessed to meet and develop friendships with people from other cultures. This has enhanced our lives.

Interests

Feeding the less fortunate via food banks, hiking, camping, travel, furthering our minds through continued exploration of our world. We love to explore ancient American sites which are abundant in Arizona our home.

Music, Movies, and Books

The floor of our home may crash in due to the weight of our recorded music, books, etc. However all is not lost because most of what we have acquired in the last few year has not weight as it is digital. I wonder if it has not weight is it real or imaginary?
